Sunshine Optometry Special Update About COVID-19

We are very excited to announce that we will resume seeing routine, yearly eye exams again starting Tuesday, May 19th. With social distancing and a two-month backlog of patients, our appointments will fill up quickly so book yours now. We recommend appointments for all services including pickups and adjustments. You can request appointments by our website, phone, and email. We have enhanced safety and sanitation protocols to align with local and federal guidelines and ask all guests to:

  1. All guests entering the office will be required to wear a face covering that covers the nose and mouth.

  2. Please practice social distancing.

  3. Only the patient may enter the office, unless the patient requires assistance.

  4. Allow us to measure your forehead temperature and reschedule if above 100.4F.

These practices will ensure your experience is as safe and efficient as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us prior to coming in for your visit.

We offer curbside pickup and shipping for glasses and contact lenses. Contact lenses can be ordered online from our website, email, or by phone. We greatly appreciate that you choose us over big-box stores as every purchase directly supports our team, their families, and our local community.

Appointments in high demand and additional safety precautions due to COVID19 further limit the number of patients that can be scheduled in a day. Our goal is not to charge patients no-show fees, but rather to ensure a smooth flow for the very limited number of daily appointments for patients who have been waiting weeks and months for an exam.
