WHAT IS LATISSE?
Latisse is the only FDA-approved treatment for eyelash hypotrichosis (inadequate eyelash growth). This lash serum, applied similarly to eyedrops, has been proven to extend the growth phase of eyelashes, resulting in longer, fuller lashes in as little as 8 weeks. The application process is straightforward: after cleaning your eyes and removing all makeup, apply a single drop of the solution to the base of your upper eyelashes every evening. Avoid applying it to your lower eyelashes to prevent excessive hair growth outside the treatment area.
Typically, patients are advised to use Latisse daily for 16 weeks to achieve the best results in lash thickness and length. Noticeable improvements usually begin around 5 to 6 weeks after starting the treatment and continue as long as Latisse is used.
